George C. Perrin | Director of Copernier Films Ltd.

FAQ

Do you make videos for social media?
Yes, and we tailor the editing of the videos to the specific social media platforms.

We previously did a lot of freelance work for Jellysmack, a company that optimises videos for social media, so we have a lot of experience in this field.
How does invoicing and VAT work?
Copernier Films Ltd. is a UK-based company that is not registered for VAT, so all invoices are issued without VAT.

UK customers:
No VAT is charged, as the company is not VAT registered.

EU individuals (B2C):
No VAT is charged.
Invoice note: “No VAT charged – supplier not VAT registered.”

EU businesses (B2B):
If you are VAT registered, you will normally account for VAT in your country under the reverse charge mechanism.
In this case, the invoice will say:
“Reverse charge: VAT to be accounted for by the recipient under Article 44 and 196 of EU Directive 2006/112/EC. Supplier is not VAT registered in the UK.”
What sort of equipment do you use?
A Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro with DZO Pictor Zoom lens. We also have an iFootage Mini Crane.

You can find our equipment list here:

Can you provide a film crew for a larger project?
Yes, for a short fiction film, documentary, or a high-end video. Big-budget feature films are not within our scope.

We have a network of experienced filmmakers that we work with: sound designers, production managers, set designers, camera and special effects technicians.
Can we meet to discuss a project in person?
Sure. You can either find us in London or Budapest, depending on what we're up to.
